About Liisa

Liisa Sefton is an award-winning and nationally accredited portrait photographer. Her work can be seen in a variety of publications including Today’s Parent, Canadian House and Home and Wedding Essentials. Many of her images have been published in ‘The Best of the Best Inspiration’ books by the Professional Photographers of Canada.

She has a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University and spent more than a decade working in the television industry as an associate director and director covering live news and sporting events. She furthered her education by taking professional photography courses and workshops in Canada and transitioned into the world of professional portrait photography in 2010. She operated a successful portrait photography studio in Barrie, Ontario where she specialized in family and commercial portraits.
